It is imperative that you stay current on your homework in this class. Many of the class periods will be spent in working through assignments together. However, if you fall behind then this type of activity will be fruitless. Therefore, I will hold very tightly to my late policy which is 10% per day up to a 50% maximum (weekends do not count). More importantly though is that the midterm exams will draw largely from homework activities and if you do not stay up with the homework and thoughtfully complete them you will not perform well on the exams. You MUST email the TA with a valid web page (URL) link of the completed assignment in the email message for each assignment. Be sure to include the homework number for the assignment in the Subject Field of the email. He will not on his own check to see if you have finished and will only count the homework on time if you have sent him an email by the time it is due, so do not forget to do this. It is difficult to come up with multiple sets of homework, quizzes, and exams. Therefore I use many from previous years. For this reason it is wrong and I consider it cheating to view or use past homework/quizzes/tests as study information for this class.
