Guidelines

Everyone starts with an A in seminar.  Your grade is reduced one mark for each absence beyond the one allowable absence per semester.  You are also required to complete your review form with your advisor (by the due date) As with an absence you will lose one mark if you do not complete these (for example from A to A-, B+ to B, etc.).

During Fall Semester - A one page opinion paper on the book Leadership and Self-Deception Getting out of the Box (by The Arbinger Institute) counts as an additional class (that cannot be made up in any other way).

During Winter Semester - You must turn in a preliminary outline of your project/thesis/dissertation using one of the templates, or electronic word processors that is correctly formatted.  Use this as an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the template and should include insertion of tables, figures, and cross references as well as getting started on your writing/planning with your advisor.  I want to see this done for check off, but your advisor is the intended audience and the one that will be concerned for content.
